It's Our Investment in You
We use the word “investment” to describe how we invest ourselves in you and your day. Your wedding adventure with us is more than a service and you are more to us than a client. We are here for you as more than photographers. We'll serve you in any way we can, whether that's keeping track of your timeline, running to get your mom so she doesn't miss a moment, carrying your train, holding your bouquet, or just being a friend. At the end of the day, being a part of your wedding means more to us than the paycheck we receive. It's not just about producing beautiful photos. It's about being there for you in one of the most important moments in your life so that you remember it for all its joys and nothing less.
"They honestly helped us execute our vision better than we ever knew we could. Having Philip and Heather be part of our day was the best decision we made for our wedding without a doubt." -Kayla and Oliver

How many photos will I receive? For a full-day wedding (6+ hours of coverage), you can expect to receive over 800+ full edited and retouched photos. The amount of photos depends greatly on your guest count, the size of your wedding party, and whether or not there will be an open dance floor.

Does your editing style change or is it always dark and moody? Our editing style will not change from client to client, but the vibe of your decor, the aesthetics and colors of the venue itself (if the walls are all white, etc) will impact the overall mood of the photo itself (not to be confused with the actual moody style in which we edit.) For example, a wedding that takes place in a white-walled building will have a much different feel than a wedding that takes place in the evening outside in the woods. A great example is Mallory and Levi's wedding in our portfolio. They had a boho style and a lot of the venue space had white walls. So although the way we shot and edit didn't change, the perceived mood may be different due to those environmental and decor choices.

How long before I receive my edited photos? Our contract binds us to providing your edited photos within 30 days after your wedding, however, we are better than Prime and typically get our client's photos back within 1-2 weeks depending on the season.

How do you work on the day of my wedding? We shoot with a combination of directing and documenting throughout your wedding day. At the beginning of the day, we split up and cover each of you getting ready in a documentary style. If you do a first look, we will meet back up and have a more directing style while still allowing the moments to naturally happen. We will shoot all of the family and wedding party photos together and then after we have tucked you away as your guests arrive for the ceremony, we will float around and capture as many candids and details as we can before the ceremony begins. After the ceremony, we will again be in a directing style as we coordinate and shoot the extended family photos and your all-important newlywed photos. As the reception begins, we begin again documenting rather than directing, and remain in this mode, unless a more directing style is required, through the remainder of the reception.
