Abigail and Bradley's Charming City Elopement

Elopements possess a unique beauty. When you choose a small, intimate ceremony over a grand wedding, you create an atmosphere that’s unforgettable. We had the privilege of photographing Abigail and Bradley's elopement at the Marietta Square on a chilly, rainy day in February.

Even with the rain pouring down, Abigail and Bradley's spirits remained high. They turned the day into an adventure, fully taking advantage of the stunning backdrop of Marietta Square and the warmth of their love, which wrapped around them like a cozy blanket.

The Charm of Marietta Square on a Blustery Day

Marietta Square is known for its historic charm, and on this rainy day, it served as the perfect backdrop for a love story. As we arrived, the couple's joy was evident.

The square resonated with excitement as guests gathered, each wearing warm smiles. With just their closest family present, it was clear that Abigail and Bradley prioritized their love story over customary frills. In an era where the average wedding costs around $34,000, this elopement stood out as a heartfelt, meaningful celebration focusing on what truly matters.

Vintage Vibes and Unique Attire

Abigail wore a breathtaking vintage-style gown that flowed gracefully with every step, reminiscent of timeless romance. The intricate lace details complemented her style perfectly, and her delicate pearl earrings sparkled softly, even under the gloom of the day.

Bradley looked charming in a tailored suit that echoed vintage flair. Their choices reflected their personalities and enhanced the atmosphere of this intimate elopement. In a survey conducted by The Knot, 24% of couples chose unique attire that deviated from traditional bridal aesthetics—and Abigail and Bradley perfectly embodied that spirit!

Dried Flowers by Zombie Flowers: An Unforgettable Touch

If their outfits weren't enough to capture your heart, Abigail's bouquet certainly was. Crafted by Zombie Flowers, our new company, her arrangement featured all dried blooms. Designed with a variety of colors, shapes, and textures, it was a magnificent fit for both Abigail and the vintage theme.

Rain is often viewed as a wedding day misfortune, but Abigail and Bradley turned it into their blessing. They unabashedly made the rain part of their celebration, venturing out for fun photo opportunities. Their infectious laughter and big smiles captured the true essence of their love story.
